User interface: Introduction

OrcaWave is based upon a main window that contains menus, a toolbar and a collection of pages for data and results. The window caption shows the program version and the file name for the current model.

Menus

OrcaWave has the following menus:

• File: file opening and saving commands
• Edit: data selection and editing commands
• Model: commands to edit the model data as text, and change the model type
• Calculation: commands for starting and stopping analyses, including batch processing
• View: controls viewing the mesh
• Tools: commands to adjust preferences
• Window: commands to control the program windows
• Help: documentation for OrcaWave
