Orcina licence monitor

The Orcina licence monitor (OLM) is a service that monitors the number of OrcaFlex licences claimed on a network in real time. Other programs that use the OrcaFlex programming interface (OrcFxAPI) such as Distributed OrcaFlex and the OrcaFlex spreadsheet are also monitored. OLM reports information on each licence claimed, including

• the computer name, network address and the user name claiming the licence
• the licence provider (dongle name or FlexNet host) and type (network or local) and the time the licence was claimed
• which modules are being used, and the version and location of the program which has claimed the licence. This is usually OrcaFlex, but it can also be, for example, Excel when the licence is claimed by the OrcaFlex spreadsheet.
