Results: Summary

These spreadsheet windows give a summary of the current state of an object or of the whole model. For example, in statics complete state these tables report the state of objects in their static position. If a dynamic time domain simulation is in progress, then they report the state of objects at the latest time calculated.

To obtain one of these results tables:

• Select the summary result type on the select results form.
• Select the object required. If all objects is selected then results for each object in the model are output.
• Some objects, e.g. lines and turbines, make available an abbreviated set of results tables. Check report abbreviated summary to select this option.
• Click the show button.

Explicit integration time steps

When the model is in statics complete state, the results tables for all objects include estimates of the shortest natural periods of objects in the model. These can be used to determine suitable explicit integration time steps. The simulation inner time step should normally be no more than 1/10th of the shortest natural period of the model.
