Line statics: Prescribed

The prescribed method is intended primarily for pull-in analyses. It provides a convenient way of setting the line up in the as laid (i.e. before pull-in) starting position, ready for a time simulation of the pull-in. The starting shape of the line is specified by defining a track on the seabed. The track is defined as a sequence of track sections each of which is a circular arc of user-specified length and angle of turn and the line is laid along this track.
