Chain: Data

Chains are widely used in a variety of offshore applications, most obviously in mooring. The line type wizard helps derive a line type to represent a chain based on the following input data.

Bar diameter

The diameter of the metal bar that forms the links.

Link type

Can be either studlink or studless.
